Parents have to work hard and earn enough money to pay bills, while kids have to attend a bunch of academic classes and extra-curricular activities to get a better job in the future. This leads to a significant drop in physical activities, especially sports, as people rarely go to the gym to work out or have a competitive basketball game with friends. In the long term, sedentary lifestyles would result in many negative effects on both mental and physical health, thus reducing productivity and performance on job and school.

So, if you have an official job during the day, the only option to improve your health is working out or doing sport at night. However, not every sports field or complex is equipped with a good lighting system, which is important to ensure performance and prevent possible accidents when playing. In other words, sufficient illumination is a decisive factor in sports lighting. Fortunately, this can be achieved easily thanks to the introduction of more flexible and affordable lighting solutions, especially mobile light towers. These systems feature powerful LED flood lights and smart designs to cover the whole area with powerful lights.

Our vision is to improve the standard of living in both commercial and residential areas via lighting projects. Understanding the importance of education and raising awareness of future generations on this field, we are committed to giving this $1500 scholarship to any student who can show their understanding of healthy and sporty lifestyles, as well as come up with practical ideas to encourage other people to start greater routine that is scheduled with physical activities after work or study.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Healthy Sports Lifestyle Scholarship, an applicant should be enrolled or at least accepted at an accredited community college, university, or high school in 50 states of the US and Washington D.C. The winner is selected based on the review of a 1500-word essay.
